We plan to offer an affordable and comfortable independence home for young adults (age 18-25) who have aged out of foster care. For some in this situation, there may not be an option of turning to family members or friends for support, financial assistance and/or guidance after leaving the state's custody (between the ages of 18 and 21.) Our program takes place in a home environment where there are no more than two residents per room and no more than 6 residents per home.

According to the Jim Casey Youth Opportunities Initiative, more than 1 out of 5 young adults become homeless after aging out of foster care. In connection with our community, Coalescent Care will ensure that every resident has access to the necessary information and resources that aid in avoiding homelessness.

We not only provide a safe environment for our residents, we also encourage self-sufficiency, building positive relationships, taking accountability for responsibilities, academic advancement and continuous growth. Participants must meet our age, background, educational and job related requirements for residential consideration.
